This course teaches divers who already have the Open Water Certification the knowledge and foundation required to safely plan and complete a dive in advanced diving conditions and up to 30 meters deep. The course gives divers a lifelong, international PADI Advanced Diver Certification. The course takes 2 days minimum to complete.
The course includes five adventure dives in open water, where conditions will be used to increase ability in selected adventures (see list below). All dives will take place in the dive-sites described in our map and will be chosen based on adventure dives.

Students must complete the following:
- Read 5 chapters, each of which explains a different adventure dive, and complete the knowledge review questions at the end of each chapter
- Complete 2 required specialty dives in open water: Deep Diving (max 30 meters) and Underwater Navigation (compass and visual)
- Complete 3 adventure dives chosen from the following list:

Our Operation
We are a PADI Dive Resort. Our boat leaves from mainland Cartagena and travels 30 minutes until we reach our dive center, which located in a beautiful beach resort on Tierra Bomba Island.

We are a registered PADI Dive Center in Cartagena owned and run by a Cartagena local and our team members are all from the island...Then our intructors and divemasters come from a variety of backgrounds and countries, but we all share the same purpose -- to have our clients have safe, organized and enjoyable dives or snorkel experiences while also striving to conserve and educate about the reef ecosystem we love so much. We can instruct or guide in Spanish or English. All of our professional Instructors, Divemasters, and Master Scuba Divers have great people skills, are knowledgeable about the area and dive sites, and have PADI active teaching status.

Nautical Transportation
All nautical transportation to and from Cartagena, scuba dive / snorkel sites and Blue Apple Beach Resort. There will be a professional, certified pilot on the boat at all times. The boat will be fully equipped and fits all safety regulations established by PADI and Cartagena's marine navagation authority.
Diving Equipment
Complete scuba diving equipment: BCD jacket for floatability, regulator, mask, fins, belt, weights, wet-suit. We only use scuba diving and snorkel equiptment from professinal and high quality scuba diving brands such as Scubapro, Cressi, Aqualung, Mares, and oceanic.
Tanks
One aluminum tank per dive, filled with 3,000 PSI. We own our own compressor, regurally change its filter, and are committed to providing scuba divers with the highest quality air. All of our tanks have completed required safety and quality checks.
PADI Professionals
Our team consists of a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, PADI Instructors and PADI Divemasters. We can teach and guide in Spanish, English, and French. While we prioritize safety above all, our team will choose sites to scuba dive / snorkel that fit your personal level and interests.
Day Pass at Blue Apple Beach Resort
Blue Apple is the perfect place to relax in a tropical paradise. After we finish the diving or snorkel activity, you will have the opportunity to spend the afternoon at Blue Apple before a boat brings you back to Cartagena. If you need to go directly back to Cartagena and do not want to spend time after diving at Blue Apple that can also be arranged.

Personalized & Private Service
Some scuba divers prefer a private boat and/or specialized service while in Cartagena, Colombia. Based on your needs and budget, there are an array of boats and yachts we can offer you along with our dive or snorkel service for your private group or family.

If you already have a boat picked out, a professional PADI Instructor or Divemaster can join your group on your boat, choose scuba dive or snorkel sites based on your level and needs, and teach or guide you during the whole activity. Also includes all scuba dive / snorkel gear and tanks.
